• Certified Anchors and Equipment Inspections: When rappelling from rooftops or working at heights, we only use certified anchors to ensure secure attachment points. Our harnesses, ropes, carabiners, and descent gear are thoroughly inspected before each use. We never take shortcuts when it comes to equipment. Every piece of gear is checked meticulously to guarantee it’s in proper working order.
• Aerial Lift Safety: For jobs requiring aerial lifts, we conduct a thorough inspection of the lift before use to make sure it's operating correctly and safely. If there’s any issue, we address it before proceeding with the work. We are committed to using only well-maintained, properly functioning equipment for every project.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): We are committed to using the necessary PPE in all hazardous situations, including when handling cleaning chemicals or working in potentially dangerous environments. This ensures that our crew is fully protected from any harm while on the job.
• Expert Safety Services Partnership: To reinforce our safety culture, we have partnered with Expert Safety Services as our Safety Advocate. Through this partnership, we maintain daily logs of equipment inspections, which includes all gear (ropes, harnesses, vehicles, ladders, lifts, etc.) to ensure everything is safe to use. This logging process keeps us accountable and helps ensure that no equipment is overlooked.
• Building Manager Requirements: For any project that involves rappelling or other high-risk activities, we require building managers to provide current anchor inspection/certification reports. This helps ensure that the structures we’re working on are compliant with safety standards and that we’re working with properly certified anchor points.
• Ongoing Training & Weekly Safety Meetings: As part of our dedication to continuous safety improvement, we provide in-depth OSHA-standard training for all of our crew members. Every team member must complete the relevant training modules for tasks like aerial lifts or rappelling and receive a certificate of completion. Additionally, we hold weekly safety meetings with our entire crew to review safety protocols, discuss any incidents, and ensure we’re all aligned on best practices.
